Director reunited with May‘s Angela Bettis
Absent from the genre scene since 2008’s Red (which he departed), Lucky McKee is back with The Woman, another thriller carrying his fingerprint that has made it into Sundance. This one, a sequel to Offspring (although that’s being downplayed), tells of a lawyer who puts his family in jeopardy when he attempts to civilize a feral woman (Pollyanna McIntosh).
In anticipation of its Sundance debut, we’ve received a handful of images which include a look at McIntosh as well as Angela Bettis, the star of McKee’s May.
