Putting out a fire before it spreads
Director Anthony DiBlasi confirmed with Shock today that he is not at the helm of Dimension Films’ long-mooted Hellraiser remake.
In fact, he doesn’t no where the rumor began, but we fielded a few e-mails overnight pointing to this blog where the site’s author doesn’t state a source for this update, but he offers a detailed history of the project and just says DiBlasi is directing.
Rather than let this spread a bit further, let’s nip it in the bud now. DiBlasi, the director of Clive Barker’s Dread, is at work on another Barker adaptation: “Pig Blood Blues.” More to come on that film.
In the meantime, Hellraiser reboot is in a state of limbo. If anything legit, news-wise, comes along, we’ll let you know.
