From the My Bloody Valentine 3D team
Yet another addition to the cast of Drive Angry, Variety reports that Simona Williams joins Nicolas Cage, William Fichtner, Amber Heard, David Morse, Billy Burke and the recently announced Tom Atkins. The actress will play one of the ringleaders in a crime syndicate that opposes Cage’s character.
Patrick Lussier directs from a script by Todd Farmer and the duo behind My Bloody Valentine 3D will reteam with Gary Tunnicliffe and his crew on the films’ FX.
The 3D pic about a felon named Milton (Cage) who goes up against a group of vicious cult fanatics begins shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana this month. It’s scheduled to hit theaters on February 11, 2011.
