Casting continues on Cage thriller
Update: Arrow adds that David Morse is also starring in the film!
Moviehole got the exclusive word that actor Billy Burke (who plays Bella’s dad in the Twilight movies and has also appeared on Fringe) has joined the cast of Patrick Lussier’s 3D romp Drive Angry.
Nicolas Cage, William Fichtner and Amber Heard also star in the Todd Farmer scripted pic which pits a felon named Milton (Cage) against a group of vicious cult of fanatics who not only murdered his daughter, but plan to sacrifice his infant granddaughter beneath a full moon. Armed with his turbo-charged Black ’71 Challenger, there’s going to be some hell to pay.
Drive Angry shoots in Shreveport, Louisiana next month. Summit will release the film on February 11, 2011.
