Terrifying follow-up to House Of The Devil
Variety reports that filmmaker Ti West will follow-up his critically acclaimed House Of The Devil with The Innkeepers, a spooky story about the last two staffers of a haunted hotel that’s going out of business.
MPI Media Group’s Dark Sky Films will finance and produce along with Larry Fessenden’s Glass Eye Pix. Derek Curl, Fessenden and Peter Phok produce.
West said he intends for Innkeepers to be “a truly terrifying” follow-up to his last pic. Lensing is set to commence in Connecticut this spring.
Dark Sky Films will release the DVD, Blu-Ray and VHS of West’s House Of The Devil on February 2nd. (They also recently snapped up the rights for the Hatchet franchise, co-producing the sequel Hatchet 2 which is currently in production.) According to the article, West is also still attached to Gold Circle’s The Haunting in Georgia, a sequel to last year’s The Haunting In Connecticut. More when we hear it.
