Site launches, release date confirmed
Paramount’s Case 39 is being primed for a dumping come January 1. That’s when the studio officially drops the film in theaters after a year delay.
Confirmation of its rumored release date came by way of the film’s official Facebook page. The studio also launched an official site where you’ll find new stills, a featurette and two film clips – one of which is age-restricted, the other finds co-star Bradley Cooper (The Hangover) having a helluva time with some hornets.
Starring Renée Zellweger and horror’s go-to creepy kid Jodelle Ferland, the film concerns an idealistic social worker who saves an abused 10-year-old girl from her parents only to discover that the girl is not as innocent as she thinks. Christian Alvart directs.
