Though it’s really no secret, Saw VII is happening. Yet the Hollywood trades don’t need to listen to genre sites like this one to learn the truth; instead they go to fellas like Lionsgate vice chairman Michael Burns for confirmation.
In a report this week, Burns told The Hollywood Reporter that Paranormal Activity is to blame for Saw VI‘s lackluster performance.
“As long as we make money on it we’ll keep doing this,” Burns said. The Saw franchise is expected to go through to an eighth entry, as revealed by Twisted Pictures Mark Burg here.
