Epic zombie film needs more time
Marc Foster, director of Quantum of Solace, is in line to direct a techno-thriller entitled Disconnect. Before World War Z, sadly. News comes via Migros Magazine where Foster says the script, penned by J. Michael Straczynski, is still in development and “still far from realization.” Sorry, zombie fans.
Adapted from the novel by Max Brooks, WWZ is a detailed tale in which a researcher for the U.N. Postwar Commission interviews survivors from countries all over the world, 10 years after the crisis, to gather a first-person post-mortem on a zombie war that obliterated every country on the map.
