American Psycho’s Ellis Pens New Thriller

Humiliation leads to revenge



Brett Easton Ellis, author of “American Psycho,” completed an original screeplay for Myriad Pictures and Roseblood Movie Co.

The thriller, currently untitled, follows a social outcast’s plans to exact revenge on those who have humiliated him. According to Variety, director Brad Furman (The Take) is looking to begin principal photography this summer.

Myriad Pictures and RKO Pictures’ genre division, the Roseblood Movie Co., are teaming to co-finance and produce a film based on an original screenplay by Bret Easton Ellis. Furman is also set to direct Valet which concerns a parking attendant who becomes obsessed with a female client.
