Directors sometimes have a penchant for taking on projects that throw them into environmental extremes. In Adam Green’s case, he’s facing frigid temperatures and snow-capped mountains all to get his latest horror film Frozen in the can. This week it was reported actors Kevin Zegers, Shawn Ashmore and Emma Bell are starring in the picture. Filming starts Monday and Green wrote in to ShockTillYouDrop.com with an update.
“My crew is working around the clock lugging 1-ton cranes and set dressing thousands and thousands of feet up the side of the mountain in blizzard conditions,” he says. “It’s pretty amazing how much these guys can physically endure. I thought I’d send some photos my production designer snapped so that you can see what it’s like up here as we prepare to shoot this. 48 hours ’til “action.”
Zegers, Ashmore and Bell play friends stuck on a chair lift at a closed ski resort. In addition to the plummeting temperatures they face dangers all around them. More updates to come!
