Top Cow presents official site
Platinum Studios revealed an official teaser poster for its forthcoming big screen adaptation of Witchblade which is cut from the Top Cow comic book (details). An official site has gone live, too. There is no director yet, no writer, not even an actress…but when she is cast, she better look like the dame on the poster, ’cause that gal works for us!
Looks like Platinum – and its partners Darklight and Top Cow – are eyeing a 2009 release. The comic book introduced the “Witchblade” mythology, which centers on an ornate jewel-encrusted gauntlet that gives extraordinary powers to the wearer, a specially chosen female from each generation.
