The sci-fi thriller starring Sam Rockwell
Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group has picked up distribution rights in all English-speaking territories for Liberty Films’ Moon, starring Sam Rockwell.
Variety reports the story centers on a man who mines the precious gas that holds the key to reversing the Earth’s energy crisis.
The sci-fi thriller marks the feature debut of commercial director Duncan Jones, who is also the film’s co-writer along with Nathan Parker. Stuart Fenegan and Nicky Moss produced Moon alongside Trudie Styler, whose company Xingu Films co-produced the project.
