Thomas Jane’s 3-D thriller
Over the summer we had the pleasure of chatting with Thomas Jane who gave Shock the low-down on his thriller The Dark Country. At the time, Jane was in prep, undaunted by the challenge of not only tackling his directorial debut but executing it in the 3-D.
Variety reports shooting has begun in Albuquerque, New Mexico with actors Ron Perlman (Hellboy) and Lauren German (pictured), the stunner recently seen in Eli Roth’s Hostel Part II.
Hyde Park is still overseeing the project; more specifically, Patrick Aiello and Ashok Amritraj are producing. Sony will release it under one of its banners.
Jane is shooting “Country” both in standard and 3-D format to accomodate theaters not equipped with the proper projection system. For more, read our exclusive interview with Jane via the aforementioned link.
