It’s been a long time.

A new photograph has been added to the teaser site of 1-18-08. It’s the image of an exuberant chef and, on the back (click on the pic, then press and hold your mouse button and wave it back and forth to turn it over), is a recipe tranlsated by Cloverfield Clues – hurray, internet!

Thank you for checking us out! We are Introducing this week’s tasty one dish. Make sure you eat it cold!

(Goddammit – as I write this, the official site’s “monster roar” just kicked in. Damn you, Abrams!)

Eventually, at some point today, someone found ANOTHER site: Tagruato.jp – a corporation tied into Slusho, the fictional drink treat of 1-18-08. The validity of the site is being called into question, still, explore the site, concoct your own theories on how all of this shit ties together.

I do like a few key words at on the Tagruato site: “explorers” and “deep sea drilling.” Does a bunch of underwater miners accidentally unearth a cave and release a beast? Will a crazed crustacean at New York City in 1-18-08? It’s Deep Star Six all over again, baby! (That was sarcasm, kiddies.)
