Bousman vouches for Paris
We’ve heard rumblings this might happen, now Variety is confirming Darren Lynn Bousman is stirring up sensational headlines with his most recent casting choice for Repo! The Genetic Opera: Paris Hilton.
She’ll be playing the daughter of Paul Sorvino’s powerful organ czar.
The tabloid queen previously starred in Dark Castle’s House of Wax and Nine Lives; some would argue the merits of her singing expertise in spite of a solo album released in 2006.
“This movie has become my life,” Bousman told the trade. “I have auditioned at least 30 actresses for this role — Paris came in and owned it. She is this role.”
