A trip to the Trailer Park of Terror

If you’re navigating the dense aisles of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con and you catch a whiff of something unpleasant in the air, it may be either a.) the waddling, hyper-ventilating dude in the Jango Fett costume, or, b.) the miasma creeping from booth #2306. That’s where Imperium Comics, with the assistance of some fly-ridden undead helpers, will be touting their first live-action feature, Trailer Park of Terror, based on the four-color fear anthology (check out our preliminary set visit here).

Imperium promises to have on-hand a few life-sized zombies from the feature, directed by Steven Goldmann, as well as a first-look at the teaser trailer on Friday, July 27th and Saturday, July 28th. Meet actors Michelle Lee (“Miss China Girl”) and Ed Lee Corbin (who plays the rotund bag of pus named “Stank”) on both of those days along with makeup FX wiz Todd Tucker of the Academy Award-winning FX house Drac Studios.

Nichole Hiltz (“The Riches”), Ryan Carnes (“Desperate Housewives”), Haley Marie Norman (Norbit) and Priscilla Barnes and Lew Temple (both of The Devil’s Rejects) star in this EC Comics-ish tale of a group of high school students who wander into said trailer park after their bus breaks down. There they meet Norma a resident who had aspirations of moving on to a better life and a struck up a dastardly dark deal. Now, she’s stuck, living out her life as a “redneck reaper” who’s out to slaughter these youthful trespassers with the help of her demonic, undead minions.
