Joe Carnahan (The A-Team) will write and direct the thriller Umbra for Endgame Entertainment, reports Variety.
Based on Steven Karczynski’s screenplay, the film “centers on a businessman finding a mysterious package in his mailbox and being thrust into the middle of a secret government agency conspiracy. Running for his life while piecing together the clues, the man learns some startling truths about himself and his unwitting connection to the agency that’s hunting him.”
Hal Lieberman and Endgame’s James D. Stern and Doug Hanson are producing.
Carnahan is currently in pre-production on The Grey.
