The Hollywood Reporter says The King’s Speech producer Gareth Unwin and screenwriter David Seidler are reteaming for another period drama, The Lady Who Went Too Far.
The film will tell the story of Lady Hester Stanhope, and is based on the biography “Star of the Morning,” by Kirsten Ellis.
Set during the Napoleonic Wars, Stanhope was a world traveler and her tale contains elements of a political thriller as she moves through Europe and the Middle East.
