Takers, the new action heist film from director John Luessenhop, is hitting theaters this Friday and ComingSoon.net got a chance to speak exclusively with some of the cast.
Idris Elba stars as Gordon Jennings, a classy, high-stakes criminal who always manages to deliver the perfect heist. At his side is a group of slick thieves brought to life by the ensemble cast of Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen, Michael Ealy, Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris and Paul Walker. On the opposite side of the thin blue line is police detective Jack Welles (Matt Dillon), a down-on-his-luck who turns solving the case into something of an obsession.
Packed with jarring chase scenes (including impressively self-performed Parkour stunts on the part of Brown) and cinematic homages to heist films throughout the ages, Takers also boasts a supporting cast that includes Zoe Saldana.
