Last week, Walt Disney Pictures was gracious enough to fly ComingSoon.net to London to attend the junket for Jerry Bruckheimer’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, the culmination of over two years of us covering the movie, having previously been in London visiting the set in November 2008.
In case you’ve missed all of that prior coverage and don’t know the plot by now, the movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan, an orphan adopted by the King of Persia, who helps the King’s men invade the city of Alamut. There, Dastan encounters Gemma Arterton’s Princess Tamina, who has been put in charge of guarding a dagger filled with sands that allow the bearer to travel back five seconds in time, and the two of them leave Alamut to keep the dagger out of the hands of those who want to use it for their own means, including Dastan’s adoptive uncle Nizam, played by Sir Ben Kingsley.
Check out the video interviews below with Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton and Sir Ben Kingsley with a few added words from producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Jordan Mechner, the creator of the “Prince of Persia” games.
