Watch the Life in Color trailer for a look at writer, director, producer and star Katharine Emmer’s debut feature

If you’ve been watching our weekly web series Most Craved, you’ll remember our recent guest Katharine Emmer, writer, director, producer and star of the new comedy drama Life in Color. Now available for purchase on Amazon and iTunes, you can now check out the Life in Color trailer in the player below!

Also starring Josh McDermitt (The Walking Dead, Mad Men), Jim O’Heir (Parks and Recreation), Adam Lustick (The Office) and Fortune Feimster (Chelsea Lately, Last Comic Standing), Life in Color tells the story of two strangers who, after both losing their jobs on the same day, wind up house-sitting together and, in the process, begin to find in one another the emotional support necessary to take on everything that stands between them and their dreams.

Mary, a live-in-nanny and Homer, a clown-magician meet at a 10-year-old’s birthday party, and both get fired by the end of the day. With nowhere to go, they are forced to house sit for Homer’s successful and pompous childhood friend, Adam. This odd couple gets off to a rocky start. They soon realize the gravity of their situation and the necessity of joining forces, making money and pulling themselves out of the emotional hole they have lived in for years. Mary inspires Homer to join Adam’s comedy competition to help them escape their impending debt. However, first Homer must overcome his fear of performing, and the fact that he has forgotten how to be funny.

ComingSoon.net first discovered Life in Color last year during SXSW. Click here to check out our sit down interview with Katharine Emmer from the festival and click here to watch her recent guest appearance on Most Craved.
