John Singleton will direct and produce the action thriller Layover for Sierra Pictures, reports Variety.
The script, by Jay Longino and Michael Browning, centers on an ex-con whose family is kidnapped by a group of corrupt TSA agents while on a seven-hour layover.
Singleton will next direct Lionsgate’s thriller Abduction, starring Taylor Lautner and shooting this summer in Pittsburgh.
