Jeffrey Nachmanoff (upcoming The Tourist) has come on board to work on the screenplay for director John Singleton’s thriller Abduction, to star Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins.
Lautner, who is also producing, will play a teen who has long felt disconnected from his parents. He discovers his own baby picture on a missing persons website, which unleashes a chain of violent events.
The Lionsgate release, originally written by Shawn Christensen, is targeting a July start.
