Entertainment Weekly reports that Summit Entertainment has reached out to at least three directors, including Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation), Gus Van Sant (Milk) and Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) to gauge their interest in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, which will likely be split up in two parts.
The magazine adds that no decision will be made until screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg’s detailed outline is delivered to the directors sometime next week.
“Breaking Dawn” is the fourth novel in Stephenie Meyer’s popular series.
