Paramount Has a Bad Case of the Jitters

Paramount has bought Marc Haimes’ family action script Jitters, to be produced by Benderspink, says Variety.

Described as in the vein of Gremlins, the story centers on a dysfunctional, recession-struck family that moves into a new neighborhood and is terrorized by superbugs.

Haimes boarded DreamWorks’ teen thriller Someone in the Dark as a producer. He also recently wrote a draft of the time-travel adventure Family History at 20th Century Fox, and his screenplay Elevator Men is set up at Summit with Mark Gordon producing.
