DisneyPixar’s John Lasseter announced today at the D23 Expo that Jeff Garlin, Bonnie Hunt and Whoopi Goldberg are joining the voice cast for Toy Story 3, but their characters were not revealed.
John Morris, who voiced young Andy in Toy Story and Toy Story 2, will be back as 18-year-old Andy in the third film as well.
They join the previously-announced voice cast of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Estelle Harris, John Morris, Laurie Metcalf, R. Lee Ermey, Jodi Benson, Ned Beatty, Michael Keaton and Timothy Dalton.
Lee Unkrich (co-director of Toy Story 2 and Finding Nemo) is directing from a script by Michael Arndt (Little Miss Sunshine). Toy Story 3 is scheduled for a June 18, 2010 release in Disney Digital 3-D.
