Last year After Dark’s first ever Horrorfest did moderately well pulling in $2,575,000 over the course of a three-day weekend as it unveiled “8 Film’s To Die For” and they are at it again this year as they have revealed six of the eight titles as well as a trailer on the official site. Out of the eight films last year, one of them actually saw an individual theatrical release when The Abandoned hit theaters earlier this year.
The eight include The Deaths of Ian Stone from director Dario Piana, Nightmare Man from director Rolfe Kanefsky, Frontiers from Hitman director Xavier Gens, Unearthed from director Matthew Leutwyler, Mulberry Street from director Jim Mickle and Borderland directed by Zev Berman.
Two more films are yet to be announced, but there is a cool little teaser trailer for the festival right here and I have included the synopses and cast information below from what the site has revealed.
Look for After Dark’s Horrorfest 2007 from November 9-18. RopeofSilicon will continue to have updated information as it becomes available right here.

The Manhattan streets explode into chaos as a rat-borne virus is unleashed. As the city is shut down, and the government neglects to send in rescue units, the residents of an apartment building must ban together or be eaten alive.
