ComingSoon.net learned today at the ShoWest exhibitors convention in Las Vegas that studios are planning to release many of their upcoming animated films in 3D. It was revealed that 20th Century Fox’s Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Disney’s Bolt and Disney/Pixar’s Up will all be 3D releases. In fact, Disney will have five 3D movies in 2009.
If that’s not enough, DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming movies will all be coming in 3D from now on.
