Legendary singer Ozzy Osbourne has partnered with Liquid Death to sell his DNA in limited-edition iced tea cans, which have got fans talking. The collaboration between Osbourne and Liquid Death has taken over social media just before the singer hits the stage for a July 5th concert in Birmingham, England. This comes after Sydney Sweeney’s limited-edition bathwater soap became one of the hot topics on the internet in the past few days.
So, here’s everything fans need to know about Ozborne’s recent venture and how the product was created.
Ozzy Osbourne partners with Liquid Death for limited edition DNA-infused cans
The former Black Sabbath vocalist recently collaborated with the canned water company, Liquid Death, to sell his DNA-infused cans.
The brand released a total of 10 low-calorie iced tea cans. These were consumed by Ozzy Osbourne and crushed by him. After he drank from the cans, each of them was sealed in a lab display container to preserve his DNA. The cans arrived on the official website of Liquid Death on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and were priced at $450 each.
Liquid Death also posted a video on YouTube. In the description, they humorously mentioned that “when technology and federal law permits, you’ll be able to replicate Ozzy Osbourne and enjoy him for hundreds of years into the future.”
Additionally, Liquid Death shared an Instagram post. It displayed the crushed iced tea cans with the singer’s DNA sealed, paired with his autograph. In the caption, they stated, “We’re selling @ozzyosbourne’s actual DNA. Ozzy Osbourne is 1 of 1. But we’re selling his DNA so you can recycle him forever. Yes, we really got him to drink from cans of our low-calorie Iced Tea. In the process, he left behind DNA from his saliva that you can now own.”
Furthermore, the company announced in the post, “Infinitely Recyclable Ozzy cans are already SOLD OUT, but you can still watch the commercial through the link in bio.” Ozzy Osbourne has yet to comment further on his newest venture.
