Former WWE superstar Baron Corbin, now known as Bishop Dyer, claims that Logan Paul has received special treatment in WWE. Since signing with the company in 2022, Paul has consistently appeared in high-profile matches.
In just his third WWE match, Paul challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Title at Crown Jewel 2022, where both superstars delivered an unforgettable showdown in Saudi Arabia.
During his WWE run, Paul also captured the United States Championship and held it for 273 days. However, fans slammed his reign due to his part-time schedule. Over the years, he has feuded with top stars like Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio, and more.
Baron Corbin, who left WWE last year after 12 years, now competes on the independent wrestling scene as Bishop Dyer. Recently, he criticized Logan Paul’s WWE journey, arguing that the promotion’s special treatment has given Paul an unfair advantage.
Baron Corbin calls out WWE favoritism for Logan Paul
During an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Baron Corbin addressed whether Logan Paul had earned the respect of the WWE locker room. He expressed frustration over WWE giving Paul special treatment, pointing out that Paul didn’t climb the ranks through NXT like most wrestlers.
He stated, “I just don’t like those guys that get that super special treatment. It’s not like he earned it from working his way up through NXT and getting on TV. I think he’s handed a lot of things that I think there are more deserving talent. I can’t stand people who run around with an entourage. He’s always got an entourage. They’re nice people, but it just irritates me. I’m protective of this industry, and when outsiders come in like that with a gold spoon or platinum spoon, or whatever spoon he’s eating off of, I struggle to really buy into it.
