One of the movies that has gotten almost unanimous praise at this year’s Sundance Film Festival is John Carney’s Once, which is being released in New York and L.A. on Wednesday, May 16. The film is a quirky musical romance set in Dublin, starring Glen Hansard, the lead singer of The Frames, and his musical collaborator Marketa Irglova. Back in January, ComingSoon.net had a chance to talk with Carney and Hansard about their experiences making the movie, and we’re rerunning the interviews to coincide with the movie’s release.
