Jordan Peele has seemingly revealed the release date for his next movie.
On X, Peele shared a cryptic post with the date October 23, 2026. While there’s no official confirmation as of yet, the post is likely announcing the release date for his next film, which the Get Out director has previously teased is in the works.

Peele’s next movie was originally going to open in theaters on December 25, 2024, from Universal Pictures. Filming was delayed in 2023, however, because of the Hollywood Strikes, and the movie was removed from Universal’s release calendar.
Plot details remain under wraps at this time. An official title for the film, along with casting information, has not yet been announced.
What movies has Jordan Peele made in the past?
Peele made his feature film directorial debut in 2017 with Get Out. Prior to that, he was a co-writer and producer on 2016’s Keanu, which he also starred in alongside Keegan-Michael Key.
Get Out, which Peele also wrote, received the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Peele was also nominated for Best Director as was Daniel Kaluuya for Best Actor, while the film additionally earned a Best Picture nomination.
Following Get Out, Peele made Us, which was was released in 2019. It starred Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Elisabeth Moss, and Tim Heidecker.
Peele’s third and most recent film was 2022’s Nope, which reunited him with Kaluuya. Nope also starred Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun, Michael Wincott, and Brandon Perea.
Additionally, Peele co-wrote the screenplays for 2021’s Candyman (directed by Nia DaCosta) and 2022’s Wendell & Wild (directed by Henry Selick). He produced both movies as well, along with 2018’s BlacKkKlansman and 2024’s Monkey Man.
