Here’s everything you need to know about what happened between MrBeast and IShowSpeed at the Wipeout challenge.

MrBeast and IShowSpeed wipeout challenge explained

In a live stream on June 5, titled “$100,000 WIPEOUT with MrBeast and KSI,” on IShowSpeed’s YouTube channel, he and KSI went head to head in a Wipeout-inspired obstacle course challenge. At the very start of the stream, Speed claimed that MrBeast would pay $100,000 to whoever completes it first and wins. While they both made progress at almost the same rate, KSI saw himself giving up after multiple attempts at the final obstacle saying he had forfeited.

After IShowSpeed almost crossed the “Not Big Red Balls” obstacle by touching the platform but not landing on it, he claimed himself as the winner. When MrBeast arrived at the scene, he revealed that IShowSpeed and KSI were present there for the filming of another big upcoming video.

Referring to Speed, MrBeast said, “This is not why he’s here. He was here to be in one of my main channel videos… And this (The Wipeout-inspired obstacle course) was for one of my other videos, and he just kinda saw it and was like, I wanna do that, and here we are.”

Did MrBeast pay IShowSpeed the $100,000?

Yes, MrBeast paid IShowSpeed $100,000 for completing the Wipeout challenge.

After claiming that he completed the challenge, IShowSpeed waited for MrBeast, as he was busy with filming. When he arrived, MrBeast took a look at the footage from Speed’s stream and did not agree that he completed the challenge. This was because he did not land on the platform and only touched it and fell into the water.

However, going again Speed landed up clearing the final obstacle, “Not Big Red Balls” in a single attempt. Per Complex, MrBeast then handed the $100,000 in cash to IShowSpeed and his buddies, in the form of 10 briefcases of $10,000 each.
