The viewers are wondering about the ending of Star Wars: The Acolyte Episode 2. The first two episodes of the Disney Plus series premiered together on Tuesday, June 4, and there is considerable interest in knowing whether the second episode ends on a cliffhanger.
Star Wars: The Acolyte tells the story of Jedi Master Sol (Lee Jung-jae), as he tries to unravel the mystery behind the death of one of his colleagues, Master Indara (Carrie-Anne Moss). In episode 1 (Revenge / Justice), Sol and his companions follow the murderer, Mae (Amandla Stenberg), the twin sister of former Padawan Osha, to the Planet Olega.
Here is everything you need to know about what happened at the end of Star Wars: The Acolyte Episode 2.
What happened at the end of Star Wars: The Acolyte Episode 2?
The final scene of episode 2 takes place on Planet Khofar, where a Wookie Jedi named Kelnacca currently lives like a hermit. Two scavengers looking for parts from Kelnacca’s crashed ship approach the wreckage, only to run away when they see the Wookie.
Earlier in the episode, Sol, Yord Fandar (Charlie Barnett), and Padawan Jecki Lon (Dafne Keen) manage to corner Mae, but she escapes by creating a cloud of dust with the Force. Osha, who heard the entire interaction on her communication device, approaches her sister. This is the first time the twins have seen each other in 16 years. Ultimately, Osha fires everywhere but at her fleeing sister, letting her escape.

Later, the Jedi Order instructs Sol to return to Coruscant, so they can further discuss the matter and strategize. Although Sol voices his disagreement, as he knows that Mae is heading toward Khofar, he is overruled.
Who is the Wookiee Jedi, Kelnacca?
Kelnacca was once a close associate of Sol, Indara, and Torbin. They were stationed together on Planet Brendok 16 years ago when Mae supposedly started a fire that killed her entire family except Osha. Joonas Suotamo portrays Kelnacca in Star Wars: The Acolyte.
Mae seems to believe that the Jedi are at least partially responsible for what happened to her family, and is targeting the four Jedi who were at the scene that day. She has already caused the deaths of Indara and Torbin. Kelnacca is her third target, and Sol is the fourth.
