With the One Piece series finally entering its final saga, the future of some characters is relatively unknown, leading to speculation and theories. Among the numerous characters shrouded in mystery, Admiral Fujitora seems to be at the top of the list. Fujitora captured the hearts of fans with his uniqueness and keen sense of justice after he debuted in the series.
As a skilled swordsman and Zushi Zushi no Mi possessor, he looked like one of the strongest characters in the series. Many speculate that there will be a clash with Zoro in the near future. While his skills as a swordsman are nothing to scoff at, the Zushi Zushi no Mi Devil Fruit alone makes him a threat to anyone in the series.
How does Zushi Zushi No Mi work?
Zushi Zushi no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit, lets its user develop certain techniques by manipulating gravitational forces. This ability makes Fujitora, who consumed the Devil Fruit, not only one of the strongest admirals but also one of the strongest characters in the series.Â
The Devil Fruit aids Fujitora immensely in fights, allowing him to move objects of different sizes easily. However, Fujitoraâs most terrifying technique is his ability to pull down meteors from the sky to flatten his enemies. The range of this ability is very wide, as he is able to pull down meteors from space.
Fujitora is also able to levitate by negating natural gravity, allowing him to simulate flight or levitation. Aside from this, Zushi Zushi no Mi also allows the admiral to repel attacks by reversing the flow of gravity.
While the Zushi Zushi no Mi Devil Fruit is undeniably powerful, it has limitations. During Fujitoraâs clash with Zoro, the Straw Hat hindered Fujitoraâs gravitational powers by attacking him directly. Also, while he can lift people, he cannot directly affect himself with the Devil Fruit. This is seen in Dressrosa when he first needed to create a platform to levitate himself. Even with the drawbacks, Zushi Zushi no Mi is inarguably one of the most terrifying Devil Fruits in one piece.
