Hollywood star Emily Blunt recently revealed that her co-star, The Rock, sent her an invitation to attend WWE WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia. The Rock made his return to professional wrestling after a decade, teaming up with his cousin, Roman Reigns, to take on Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in the main event of the show.
Emily Blunt, The Rock’s Jungle Cruise co-star, shared that ‘The Great One’ sent her an invitation to WWE WrestleMania 40. Speaking in an interview on Howard Stern’s podcast, Emily Blunt talked about The Rock. She revealed that he had sent her a lot of gifts. She stated, “He’s given me lots of gifts. He and the producers got me this beautiful ring that I love at the end of the press tour. He sends me endless tequila. He sends me a lot of sports gear.”
Additionally, she mentioned that The Rock had sent her a ticket for WWE WrestleMania 40. She explained that she ended up watching it at home instead of attending the event live. She expressed a desire to witness it in person but felt hesitant as she had never seen him wrestle before. Reflecting on her childhood memories of her brother’s passion for WWE and watching The Rock on TV, she found it surreal to later work with him.
The Rock and Emily Blunt to co-star in a film post WWE WrestleMania 40
Despite Emily Blunt not attending WWE WrestleMania 40, both stars are slated to appear together again in an upcoming movie. Following WWE WrestleMania 40, The Rock announced that he would be taking a break for a while.
As a prominent movie star, The Rock is gearing up to film his next project, “The Smashing Machine,” where he will portray MMA legend Mark Kerr. Emily Blunt, his co-star from “Jungle Cruise,” will also join him in this film.
