The ongoing Thai Drama Ploy’s Yearbook released episode 5 on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 8:30 p.m. ICT on channel GMM 25. It follows the love stories of five schoolmates who share the same name, Ploy. The girls’ high school romances go downhill after their phone numbers get mixed up in the school yearbook. However, the friends reunite years later and try to set things right. Episode 5 of Ploy’s Yearbook begins with Prof Ploy’s (Jamie Juthapich Indrajundra) high school days. Her mothers tell her to take private lessons at home instead of going to cram school. Prof isn’t happy with her mother’s decision to do this for her; however, the latter asks the former to trust her. Afterward, Kram, Prof’s friend and crush, also joins for the private lesson. Prof’s mother introduces Kram as her employee’s son. The pair spends time studying together and eventually fall for each other. However, one day, Kram abruptly ends things with Prof.
In the present day, the headlines claim, “Actor ‘K’ gets an advertising deal after sleeping with the executive.” Prof’s mother, who has now gotten sick, confronts her about the claims. The former then supports and comforts her daughter after Prof says the news is false.
Elsewhere, the other Ploys discuss their friend’s troublesome situation. Pretty Ploy shares the news is concerning as Kram is rumored to be dating his co-star, Prakaimook (June Wanwimol Jaenasavamethee). The scandal quickly spreads online and Kram comes under fire. Meanwhile, Prakaimook confronts Kram and says although they have broken up, she still cares about him and his career. Later, the former breaks down in front of reporters and escalates the situation. Furthermore, Prakaimook asks to meet Prof and asks the latter not to inform Kram.

Prakaimook proposes to Prof Ploy that Kram announces he’s dating the former and that he met the latter to inform her of the same. She adds that to debunk the news, Prof can announce Prakaimook as the second endorser for the project alongside Kram. However, Kram gets there and refuses to lie about the situation. Despite that, Prakaimook retorts and says the scandal can end his career. Afterward, Prof tells Prakaimook she will not give in to the latter’s demands. However, Prakaimook blackmails with a video of Prof and Kram coming out of a room. The former asks Prof to make her the second endorser.
The next day, Kram announces to the press that he’s getting married to Prof. She adds that they are each other’s first love since high school. The announcement infuriates Prakaimook. Afterward, Kram reveals to Thap and Mek that nothing is going on with him and Prof. The former shares he had found Prof crying. Meanwhile, the latter tells the girls she fake-cried, so Kram would not disappear from her life again. The following flashback shows Prof’s mother helping Kram financially when the latter’s father got sick while he was still in school.
After Kram saw Prof crying following the scandal, he told the latter he would take responsibility. Kram revealed he broke up with Prakaimook as he couldn’t get over Prof. He even texted Prof; however, considering the yearbook numbers mix-up, it never reached her. As Kram wasn’t ready before, Prof tells him to be prepared now as she asks him to get married. However, she later overhears Kram telling his friends he’s marrying Prof to take responsibility, but it’s not the time to talk about love. Prof breaks down, assuming he’s marrying her to pay off her family’s debt.
Ploy’s Yearbook episode 5: June Wanwimol makes pregnancy claims
The company’s board member questions Prof Ploy’s decision after making the marriage announcement. However, her mother intervenes and says the pair is really in love. Later, she tells Prof that Kram visited her earlier. Kram wanted to become worthy of being with Prof. However, her mother says love is not about money and status. Afterward, Prof and Kram confessed their love for each other and shared a kiss.
The episode ends with Prakaimook sharing a photo of herself covered with bruises on social media. She also shares a picture of a positive pregnancy test and writes, “The best gift he left me with.”
