Dark Sky Films Has revealed the Founders Day digital release date for Erik & Carson Bloomquist’s politically-themed slasher movie.

Founders Day is a contemporary murder mystery set in a small town plagued by ominous killings on the eve of its tricentennial celebration and impending mayoral election. Who is behind it? As the body count racks up, it will no doubt become clear.
“In this bold political slasher, a small town is shaken by a series of ominous killings in the days leading up to a heated mayoral election. As accusations fly and the threat of a masked killer darkens every street corner, the residents must race to uncover the truth before fear consumes the town,” the film’s official synopsis reads.
Founders Day stars 13 Reasons Why cast members Devin Druid and Amy Hargreaves, with Hargreaves portraying incumbent Mayor Blair Gladwell. The rest of the cast includes Emilia McCarthy, Catherine Curtin, William Russ, Naomi Grace, Olivia Nikkanen, Jayce Bartok, Andrew Stewart Jones, Tyler James White, Adam Weppler, Kate Edmonds, Dylan Slade, and Arun Cameron Storrs.
