The Witcher Season 5 will be the Netflix series’ final installment.
Netflix announced the news that The Witcher Season 5 will serve as the series finale on social media. The streamer also confirmed that Season 4 is currently in production in a cast read video.
“It’s official, The Witcher season 4 is in production,” wrote the series’ official Twitter account. “But that’s not all, we’re already planning season 5, which will be the final season and bring this epic show to a fitting conclusion. See you on The Continent.”

The series was previously being led by Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, though Season 3 marked Cavill’s final season as the titular hunter, as he has been replaced by Hunger Games vet Liam Hemsworth from Season 4 onwards. The series also stars Freya Allan as Princess Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, and Joey Batey as Jaskier.
