Blackpink Jennie is featured in rapper Zico‘s new song, “Spot!” The sneak peek of the new track excited fans. Zico’s company, KOZ Entertainment, also confirmed the latest song’s release date: the end of April.
After ending her solo contract with YG Entertainment, Blackpink icon Jennie has started a new career chapter. The 28-year-old globally famous superstar recently collaborated with American rapper Matt Champion in the song “Slow Motion.”

Blackpink Jennie and Zico’s latest single, “Spot!” will be released on April 26, 2024 at 6 p.m. KST/ 5 a.m. ET/ 2 a.m. PT/ 10 a.m. BST. Before the track’s official release, K-pop fans will hear multiple teasers from April 19th onwards. Along with song snippets and multiple concept photos, a music video teaser will drop on April 25 at 12 a.m. KST.
According to reports, Jennie and Zico’s latest collaboration track is heavily based on the Hip-hop genre. The track portrays the story of a significant moment between two friends who happened to meet at a party late at night.
In one of the first teased clips of the song, fans can easily distinguish Jennie’s stellar vocals when she flawlessly sings, “We not going home tonight (Alright)/ what are your plans party/ Up and down, round and round/ Hit the spot, spot, spot, spot.”
Meanwhile, Jennie made her solo debut with the song “Solo” in 2019. The song became a milestone in the singer’s career, making new history for K-pop solo music. “Solo” peaked simultaneously at Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart and the US Billboard World Digital Songs. The single’s music video crossed over a billion views on YouTube, making her the first female K-pop soloist to achieve this feat.
Another track, “One Of The Girls,” also showed her steady growth as a solo singer, charting at number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also featured hit singer The Weeknd and actress Lily-Rose Depp.
