Evil revolves around David Acosta, a Catholic seminarian; forensic psychologist Dr. Kristen Bouchard; and tech expert Ben Shakir as they investigate various allegedly supernatural incidents. In the course of the series, all three of them undergo significant changes because of what they experience at their job. The trio must also deal with other interested parties, including Dr. Leland Townsend. Like Kristen, he is a forensic psychologist who seems to have a history with the former’s family.
The cast of Evil includes Mike Colter as David Acosta, Katja Herbers as Dr. Kristen Bouchard, and Aasif Mandvi as Ben Shakir. The cast also features Kurt Fuller as Dr. Kurt Boggs, Brooklyn Shuck as Lynn Bouchard, and Michael Emerson as Dr. Leland Townsend.
