Their lives get complicated after their phone numbers get mixed up in their school’s yearbook. It leads to a series of misunderstandings that turn each of their romantic lives upside down. However, they try to set things right when they reunite years later. Here’s a look at Ploy’s Yearbook episode 2 recap.
Episode 2 of Ploy’s Yearbook begins with Ploy Padparadscha (Punpun Sutatta Udomsilp) confronting another guy for leaving her. However, the guy says it is Padparadscha’s fault as she never committed to him. Thap (Earth Pirapat Watthanasetsiri) gets there and comforts his friend as she goes through yet another breakup. The following flashback shows Padparadscha and Mek (Jimmy Jitaraphol Potiwihok) in high school.
Despite being born with good looks, the present-day Padparadscha struggles with relationships. She calls herself “one of the most frequently dumped women.” Moreover, her family keeps pressuring her to find a husband and get settled.
Afterward, Thap tells Padparadscha he met Ploypang (Namtan Tipnaree Weerawatnodom). Padparadscha asks if Prez Ploy is still dating Mek. Thap answers that the two never dated and tells her about the numbers mix-up in the yearbook. In school, Mek tried to confess his feelings to Padparadscha but mistook Prez Ploy’s number for hers. Later, Padparadscha revisits the time she spent with Mek studying together in school.
Padparadscha then meets Ploypang to ask for her help in rectifying the past misunderstanding. She thinks Mek still holds a grudge against her because he thought she pretended to like him. Padparadscha thinks she can’t find love because he “cursed” her.
Ploy’s Yearbook episode 2 recap: Punpun Sutatta tries to reconcile with Jimmy Jitaraphol
Ploypang, Paploy, and Thap take Padparadscha to meet Mek at a pub. However, Mek walks away when Padparadscha approaches him. In school, Ploy Jewelry and Pandara had asked Padparadscha if she really liked Mek or only flirted with him so he would help her with her studies. Mek overheard when Padparadscha said if she could choose only one guy, it would be Mek, as he could help her graduate high school. She then says a “nerd like Mek” would never reject the “Pretty Ploy.” Later, Padparadscha asks Mek what he would do if she told him she loved him. He replies, “I don’t like airhead women,” and walks away.
However, Mek later called her to apologize and confessed his feelings to Padparadscha. But on the other end, the phone was answered by Thap, who said Ploy was dating him. In the present day, Mek refuses to speak to Padparadscha as he thinks the latter was “toying” with him in the past. Despite the rejection, Padparadscha decides she will make Mek forgive her and also get back with him. Padparadscha then applies for the role of Mek’s secretary. He instantly rejects her despite her attempts at reconciliation. Nonetheless, she has been told her probationary period is three months.
During a meeting, Paploy pitches Kram to represent the real estate company. After Mek’s mother shockingly fires his new secretary, Padparadscha, she asks for Paploy and Ploypang’s help to clear the misunderstanding. Later, Padparadscha slips out that she applied for the role as she wants to date Mek. The latter says they can be friends like before, but the former isn’t his type anymore. Afterward, Mek’s mother tries to set him up with Paploy. However, Paploy still has eyes for her high school crush, Kram. Elsewhere, Thap agrees to buy Ploypang’s cafe.
Ploy’s Yearbook episode 2 ends with Padparadscha joining Paploy’s company as the project coordinator for the rebranding project with Mek’s agency. Padparadscha then tells Mek’s mother she can’t fire her anymore.
