Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new trailer for George Miller‘s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, which is set to release May 24, 2024.
The latest poster shows off Anya Taylor-Joy, who is playing a younger version of Furiosa, who was portrayed by Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road. The trailer also depicts Chris Hemsworth’s Warlord Dementus behind her, with a pack of motorcycle riders in the background.

What is Furiosa about?
“As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.”
A prequel to 2015 Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Imperator Furiosa alongside Chris Hemsworth. In addition to Taylor-Joy and Hemsworth, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga also stars Tom Burke, Alyla Browne, Quaden Bayles, Daniel Webber, and Lachy Hulme. Additionally, Mad Max: Fury Road stars Nathan Jones and Angus Sampson reprise their roles as Rictus Erectus and The Organic Mechanic, respectively.
