Ram Charan’s upcoming films have gained much attention lately. The actor will be next seen in Game Changer and two other films. While his collaboration with Buchi Babu Sana for the forthcoming project RC 16 was already announced, all eyes are on his 17th film.
Several reports had been hinting at a possible collaboration between him and Pushpa director Sukumar until it was confirmed recently. With this, Mythri Movie Makers has also unveiled some more details.
Ram Charan’s next with Sukumar tentatively titled RC17
It was earlier anticipated that the announcements regarding Ram Charan’s upcoming venture with Sukumar would be made on the actor’s birthday. However, Mythri Movie Makers announced the collaboration a few days earlier. On the day of Holi, i.e. March 25, 2024, the production house dropped a picture of the actor-director duo and revealed that the movie is tentatively titled RC17.
Sharing the news of the new collaboration, they wrote, “Mighty forces reunite for an earth-shattering magnum opus.” They further revealed that DSP will compose the film’s music. “Global Star @AlwaysRamCharan X The Maverick Director @aryasukku X Rockstar @ThisisDSP X @MythriOfficial X @SukumarWritings = #Raring2Conquer. RC17 is all set to add new colors to the Indian Cinema.”
This is not the first time the RRR star has joined hands with Sukumar. The duo worked together on the 2018 action thriller Rangasthalam, a box office hit back then. According to a report by OTTplay, Ram Charan and Sukumar’s movie is being made on a hefty budget of $30 million. If the reports are to be believed, Charan is set to play the lead in several big-budget movies.
As the actor is currently occupied with two of his previously announced movies, he will allegedly begin shooting for RC17 soon. The report further mentioned that it will be released in January 2025.
