Snack Shack and The Fabelmans star Gabriel LaBelle has discussed his upcoming part in SNL 1975 and his history with Saturday Night Live.
In an interview with ComingSoon, LaBelle was asked about how he’s feeling ahead of playing SNL creator and producer Lorne Michaels in the forthcoming SNL 1975 movie. The actor gave a bit of his history with SNL and explained how people like Chris Farley and Will Ferrell were his comedy heroes.
“Saturday Night Live was a huge part of my upbringing and The Best of Chris Farley and Will Ferrell,” LaBelle stated. “When you realize that all of your comedy heroes come from SNL, or most of them and who taught them, it really feels like you’re a part of it and you are. But it’s … so cool. [Laughs].”
