The makers of the upcoming C-drama Wu Ran have updated viewers with the release date of the drama. It is all set to hit the screen on March 16, 2024. Wu Ran will feature Lin Jiying and Deng Xiaoci (Jerome Deng) in the leading roles. The original broadcasting network of the drama is Tencent Video.
Although the network giant is yet to release an official synopsis of the drama, it has been revealed that it will tell the story of a girl who goes back in time to save her master. But her life takes a wild turn after a demon king falls in love with her. What will happen when her fate gets intertwined with the silver-haired demon king Mu Ting?

Chao Lu (Lin Jiying) finds her master, the man she dearly loves, in danger, and everything she holds close to her gets taken away. She decides to travel hundreds of years back in time to alter her fate. There, she meets Mu Ting (Deng Xiaoci), who pushes himself in danger to shield Chao Lu as external forces attempt to harm her. Chao Lu starts to see the resemblance between her beloved master and Mu Ting. She also starts to fall in love with Mu Ting. Will their love story find its happy ending?
Other than Deng Xiaoci and Lin Jiying in the lead roles, Wu Ran will also feature Liu Tan Jia, Xu Haoxiang, Guo Jiayu, and others in pivotal roles. Wen Hong Yi is the director of the drama.
Wu Ran is a historical romance drama that also contains elements of fantasy. It is a short drama which will release a total of 26 episodes. The drama will air all seven days of the week and will be available for streaming on Tencent Video.
