Rene Rother and Devolver Digital have revealed the release date for ultra-stylish third-person puzzle shooter Children of the Sun on PC via Steam.
Children of the Sun Aims for April
The game involves tactical sniping, puzzle solving, and light stealth colliding to create a third-person shooter like no other. You only have a single bullet to complete each level, but you can re-aim on impact, curve around obstacles, accelerate to break through armor, and more to really make that one crucial shot count.
There’s a story behind it too. Burning with anger, THE GIRL wages a one-woman war against THE CULT, taking them down cultist by cultist, bullet by bullet, until she reaches her true target: THE LEADER. Along the way she will unravel the dark truth about this mysterious order and the atrocities committed by them in the name of their master.
Children of the Sun will debut on Steam on April 9, 2024.

The demo put out for Steam Next Fest had me hooked with its vibrant mix of Sniper Elite and Superhot. Trying to find the best routes for racking up high scores is pretty engrossing already, so looking forward to seeing what madness people come up with in the full game to achieve that.
