Anyone But You’s Glen Powell Teases Next Project With Sydney Sweeney

Following the theatrical success of the romantic comedy film Anyone But You, Glen Powell confirmed that he and co-star Sydney Sweeney are currently looking for their next potential project. Speaking with Variety, Powell revealed that he and Sweeney have already started reading different scripts in order to find the right movie for them.

“When you find somebody that you really jive with, Sydney is so easy to work with and so fun. We’re definitely trying to find the next thing,” Powell said. “Please send us all the scripts you got. You know we’re here for it. It’s been really wonderful to read a lot. Sydney reads everything, by the way, and in record time. She’s the fastest reader I think I’ve ever met. It takes me a little longer, but we’re reading everything and just trying to see what makes sense, what we can turn into something that audiences are going to respond to.”

Who’s the cast of Anyone But You?

Anyone But You was directed by Will Gluck (Easy A) from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ilana Wolpert. The film also starred Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Dermot Mulroney, Rachel Griffiths, Michelle Hurd, Bryan Brown, Darren Barnet, and Hadley Robinson. It was executive produced by Sweeney, Natalie Sellers, Alyssa Altman, and Jacqueline Monetta, with Gluck, Joe Roth, and Jeff Kirschenbaum producing.

“In the film, Bea and Ben look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold — until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia,” reads the synopsis. “So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.”
