Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 251 was released earlier this week, bringing a series of harrowing updates in the recent events. Itadori is finally able to get in touch with Megumi’s body. However, it appears that the latter has lost all his will to live, which explains why he isn’t fighting to regain control of his body.
The chapter also shows how well Sukuna has turned the cards against Yuta Okkotsu and Yuji Itadori. The latter is heavily injured as the chapter comes to an end. However, fans have been excited to see the appearance of Maki Zen’in, who lands a serious hit on Sukuna without him even noticing her.
The King of Curses releases Hollow Wicker Basket in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 251
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 251 picks up from where the previous installment ended. Sukuna was baffled to see how Yuta copied his Cursed Technique. The latter asks the King of Curses about the final finger, asking if he could retrieve it. Interestingly, Yuta ate the last Sukuna finger to gain his Cursed Technique.
Yuji and Yuta start to attack Sukuna again, but the villain calls it quite the meal. The former eventually gets stuck in a headlock by Sukuna. He retaliates by spitting blood into Sukuna’s eye. This leaves an opening for Yuta to land an uppercut that frees Yuji. He tells himself to get up since this is not a time to lie around. Surprisingly, this was Yuji’s final chance against Sukuna to get Megumi back.
Meanwhile, the chapter also explores how Sukuna has realized that his Cursed Energy output and control of Megumi’s body are weakening significantly. Lost in his train of thought, Rika swings at him, followed by Yuji kicking him. Sukuna uses the Hollow Wicker Basket in retaliation to fire off a single use of the World Bisecting Slash.
Sukuna finds an intriguing opponent in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 251
The pace of the chapter changes drastically as Yuji tries his best to wake up Megumi before punching Sukuna for the last time. He succeeds in connecting to his soul. The narrator explains that Yuji and Yuta’s plan was flawless from the angle of soul composition. However, Megumi’s soul has lost all the will to live. His soul communicates with Yuji and tells him that he has had enough.
Sukuna attacks back with a World Bisecting Slash that hits Yuji, Rika, and Yuta. With the latter taking the most damage, it appears that his body has been slashed through. This results in his Domain Expansion’s barrier crumbling down slowly. However, the antagonist is surprised as light falls upon Yuta’s Domain Expansion. A dark figure stabs him from the back. The narrator explains how such a mediocre plan wouldn’t have worked on Sukuna since he would have instinctively avoided it under normal circumstances.
Following this, the narrator emphasizes how this surprise attack on Sukuna assured them victory. Maki Zen’in appeared behind him and stabbed him with her Split Soul Katana. The chapter concludes with Sukuna smiling at Maki. He seemingly appears content to have found a new opponent.
