Palette, the feature-length directorial debut of Zach Straus, has now added Hunter Schafer and Noomi Rapace to the cast of the psychological horror thriller.
Palette Story and Cast Details
In Palette, Schafer is Dolly, a woman suffering from extreme synesthesia, a rare condition through which she is able to hear colors.
She is recruited into a secretive, cult-like industry of color design, where she discovers the dark reality of what it takes to make the world’s greatest hues. Rapace will play the company’s enigmatic executive Latrice.
Before helming his feature length directorial debut, Zach Strauss (who also wrote the film) had writing credits on Spike Lee’s next film Da Understudy, and episodes of Showtime series SMILF.
Hunter Schafer is best known for her role as transgender high school student Jules Vaughn in the HBO teen drama television series Euphoria. She’s also starring in the upcoming horror movie Cuckoo by Tilman Singer alongside Dan Stevens.
Noomi Rapace is best known for roles in Ridley Scott’s Prometheus and Valdimar Jóhannsson’s Lamb. Her most recent outing was in the 2023 action movie Assassin Club alongside Henry Golding.
Palette is currently seeking a distributor and has no set release date.
